What to Expect

Itinerary

DAY 1 - Ouarzazate - Anti Atlas mountains - Draa valley - Zagora palm grove - Tagounite town - Zaouit oasis - Tidri dunes. (1-hour walking)

Start your adventure! In the morning will pick up you from your hotel in the city then drive south towards the desert crossing the anty atlas mountains via Tizi n Tichka (2260m above sea level) pass to join Draa Valley which contains the biggest palm oasis in Morocco and drive next to it until Zagora palms grove then continue our way passing by Tagounit town before we head to Zaouit oasis where we will meet our Berber team with camels then put our luggage on the camels and walking about one hour to get in Tidri dunes where we will set our first camp in the desert for the first night under the starry sky.

Day 2 - Tridri dunes - Kisan mountain - Crossing a rocky plateau - Erg Sahel dunes. (4 hours walking)

after enjoying a rich breakfast in the open air or in a nomad tent our team will package the camels and then begin our day by leaving Tidri dunes to climb the small mountain of Klibsabt where you will have a whole panoramic view of the desert. then descending and crossing a rocky plateau towards the immense dunes of Erg Sahel, upon our arrival we will set camp under the highest dune and have lunch then have a relaxing time. afterward, we will appoint the evening period to explore the dunes and enjoy a magical desert sunset above the dune .at night we will gather around the fire to make bread on the embers as the nomads do. second night in the desert under the starry sky.

DAY 3 - Erg Sahel Dunes - La Arada stoning Plateau - Bounou Dunes. (5 hours walking)

Get up early to admire a desert sunrise with a morning breeze from the dunes before we have breakfast and put the luggage on the camels to continue our Sahara desert adventure, getting out from the dunes and following our caravan’s team in laaradastonning plateau, after about a 3 hours we will stop in the shade of an accacia tree for lunch. afterward, we will continue our walking between some small dunes with tamarisk trees before we head to the big sand dune of Bounou where we will build the camp and range woods for fire then enjoy your last night in the desert around a campfire singing some local songs with friendly Berber guys.

DAY 4 - Bounou dunes-Address oasis Zagora palm grove- Draa valley-Anti atlas mountains-Ouarzazate. (1-hour walking).

Today we will walk for about one hour to reach Oulad-driss oasis where we will join our 4×4 vehicle
for the road back to Ouarzazate pass by Zagora palm grove and drive next to Draa Valley before we cross the anty atlas mountains via tizin’tzazert pass then head to Ouarzazate and drop you off at the hotel in the city.
DEPARTURE DAY FROM OUARZAZATE AEROPORT: at your departure, we will transfer you from your hotel to the airport for your flight back.
